On November 5th, 12th and 19th in 2000, the authors taught sixteen highschool and middle highschool students, in labolatories of Miyagi university of education. In our program, the students observed small lives in water, using various types of microscopes. On November 5th, students learned about ecology and physiology of cyanobacteria, including collection of cyanobacteria in a vertual space and from nature, its role in the evolution of lives and effects of chromatic lights on pigment synthesis. On 12th, they learned about molecular and cell biology of Paramecium, including microinjection technique, nucleare transplantation, PCR and electrophoresis of DNA. On 19th, students learned about ethology of cnidarians, observing their body forms, feeding behavior, and fine structure of nematocysts.
