The first step of environmental education is to let children learn from their own field experience or facts about nature, so that they will be able to relate any matters in the surrounding nature and local community to their own lives. Many field researches were conducted objecting Hirose-gawa, which is urban river close to a large number of children. Based on these results, it was developed teaching materials for environmental education. |
