要　旨　：　As a part of environmental educations, a course of study on the light pollution has been developed. Junior high school students surveyed the darkness of their town by counting numbers of stars observed by naked eyes at night. Relating the observed data and photos of illuminations of their town, they discussed on appropriate illuminations, and further more the conservation of energy. The light pollution is one of the effective themes to pursue the advanced environmental education.
